Anya
Anya was born in beautiful Amherst, Nova Scotia, and was adopted by Heather in 2000 from the Amherst Animal Shelter. Anya was a rambunctious kitten, but much of this can be credited to her roommates. Anya moved to Fredericton the summer of 2001. Heather was forced to leave Anya with Danny while attending Laurier and has suffered from abandonment issues ever since. Anya recently underwent dental surgery in order to remove her ‘fangs’ since they were starting to get loose – not to worry, it wasn’t cosmetic surgery. Anya was delighted when Danny proposed on December 15, though she was squirming to get free during the proposal, for which all members of Team Parkhurst were present. Anya has yet to confirm whether she will be part of the wedding party.
Keyser
Keyser officially became a member of Team Parkhurst in 2003. Keyser was a surrogate member for a year when his owner, Dave Penney, moved to Moncton for work. Keyser was staying originally just until Dave found a place that allowed pets; Keyser however fell madly in love with Heather, and flat out refused to move to Moncton. He was jealous when Danny proposed, but figured he had exhausted all options for stealing Heather away. He remains very territorial over Heathers lap.
